Getting Started

Omegle Co is a free random video and text chat platform that connects you with strangers from around the world. You can have one-on-one video or text conversations with people you've never met before.

No! You can start chatting immediately without creating an account. However, creating an account with Google allows you to save preferences and access additional features.

Simply click the 'Start Video Chat' or 'Start Text Chat' button on the homepage. You'll be instantly matched with a random user. It's that easy!

Yes! Omegle Co is 100% free with no hidden costs, subscriptions, or premium tiers. We believe everyone should have access to connect with others.

Safety & Privacy

We take safety seriously with strict community guidelines, active moderation, and easy reporting tools. However, you're chatting with strangers, so always use caution, never share personal information, and report any inappropriate behavior.

No! We do NOT record or store video or audio from your chats. All video streams are peer-to-peer using WebRTC technology, meaning they go directly between you and the other user without passing through our servers.

Text messages are processed in real-time to facilitate the chat but are not permanently stored on our servers. Once the chat ends, messages are deleted.

Never share personal information like your full name, address, phone number, email, social media profiles, or exact location. Keep conversations general and use the 'Skip' button if you feel uncomfortable.

Immediately click 'Next' or 'Skip' to end the chat, then report the user using the report button. For serious violations or illegal activity, contact us at report@omegleco.com or contact law enforcement.

Age & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Omegle Co. This is strictly enforced. Users under 18 are not permitted under any circumstances.

We use Google OAuth for authentication, which requires users to be 18+. We also actively monitor for underage users and ban accounts that violate our age requirements.

Report them immediately using the report button. We have a zero-tolerance policy for underage users and will permanently ban their account.

Using the Platform

When you click start, our system matches you with another available user randomly. Matches are made based on availability and your selected chat mode (video or text).

No, matches are completely random. This is part of the Omegle Co experience – meeting people you wouldn't normally encounter. If you don't want to chat with someone, simply click 'Next' to be matched with someone else.

You may need to wait a moment for someone to become available. Peak times (evenings and weekends) typically have more users online.

No, once a chat ends, you cannot reconnect with that user. Conversations are anonymous and temporary by design. If you want to stay in touch, exchange contact information during the chat (but be cautious about privacy!).

Chats can disconnect due to internet connection issues, the other user clicking 'Next,' or technical problems. Simply start a new chat to continue.

Technical Issues

First, ensure you've granted browser permissions for camera and microphone access. Check that your devices aren't being used by another application. Try refreshing the page or restarting your browser. Make sure you're using a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.

Poor video quality is usually due to slow internet connection. Try closing other tabs/applications using bandwidth, moving closer to your WiFi router, or switching to a wired connection. Lower quality may also occur if the other user has a slow connection.

Omegle Co works best on modern browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari (Mac/iOS), and Microsoft Edge. We recommend using the latest version of your browser for the best experience.

Yes! Omegle Co is fully responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. Simply visit our website in your mobile browser. No app download is required.

Rules & Moderation

Be respectful, no nudity/sexual content, no harassment, no illegal activity, no minors (18+ only), and follow our Community Guidelines. Violations result in bans.

Depending on severity: warning, temporary suspension (7-30 days), or permanent ban. Serious violations (illegal activity, child exploitation) are reported to law enforcement.

You can contact support@omegleco.com to appeal, but decisions are at our discretion. Permanent bans for serious violations are typically not reversible.

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior. If you encounter a user violating our rules, please disconnect immediately. You can also email report@omegleco.com with details. All reports are reviewed by our team.

Account & Profile

Click 'Sign In with Google' and authorize Omegle Co to access your basic Google profile information. Your account is created automatically.

We collect your email, name, and profile picture from Google. You can optionally add country, date of birth, gender, and bio to your profile. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

Go to your profile settings and click 'Delete Account,' or email support@omegleco.com to request account deletion. Your data will be removed within 30 days.

Yes! Go to your profile page to update your display name, country, date of birth, gender, bio, and other optional fields.
